Reading List

While I am working on my core task of interpreting biblical texts, and responding to suggestions from readers, the creative process of this website will also be responding to my reading in scholarly literature in the field of biblical hermeneutics. Hence I am publishing my reading list: some books that have influenced my thinking already, and even more than I have  acquired at the start of this project and intend to read as I go. Obviously, I am open to suggestions here, but will have to exercise some discrimination as well, if I am to survive.

SO … here is my list so far, in alphabetical order of authors. I intend to write some sub-pages as I go, briefly describing each book and summarizing its main lessons for me. This page, and each sub-page,  will provide opportunities for readers’ comments on the same books.
